Creating a PK2Devicefile.dat

Does anyone know where the documentation/byte breakdown for the PK2Devicefile.dat can be found?

All of the links I had to microchips docs have stopped working, so I suspect they have taken them down.

Any documentation or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

as funny as that is, I'm not asking for an editor I'm asking for the byte breakdown, the editor is next to useless if I have to do 9 or 10 modifications back to back, I want to be able to manually edit the .dat file and not have to use a GUI.

This editor at least parses the .dat file and gives you the text representation of its data structures/fields.

When Microchip took down the old PICkit 2 page (the one with all the standalone programmer stuff, I archived its essential content here: http://www.microchip.com/forums/FindPost/775368
It has all the links to files, the device support list etc.   Its also got a lot of other PICkit 2 related stuff.
