Problem in transmitting string using UART in dsPIC33EP512MU810

Hello All,
I am having problem in transmitting string using UART in dsPIC33EP512MU810 . When I am looking in terminal only four characters are shown repeatedly. How to overcome this problem . If anyone can help!!!

    Without knowing your code nor having more information, it is really difficult to "guess" where the problem could be...
    Some questions in advance:
    1. The characters received are "as expected"? (Meaning: the baud rate settings a4e ok?)
    2. Do you use some watchdog? Could it be the µC is repeatedly resetting?
    3. Do you have some debugger to step through the code?

    My money is on the WDT being enabled when it shouldn't be.

    Wait and see. Eventually it's some other bug from "in front of the keyboard".

    Four characters is the size of the transmit FIFO.  I'm guessing just blasting the string out without waiting for UxTXIF.
