Create your own Custom Scenes
Unleash your artistic creativity! The LED Cube firmware contains over 12 custom scenes which repeat every ~3 minutes. These simple APIs enable you to change colors, set/clear pixels, draw lines and letters and even rotate the currently displayed image for animation. The KSZ8061 Daughter Board (AC320004-6) enables Ethernet Communication with a variety of Microchip Starter kits. This daughter Board is designed specifically to be used with the PIC32 Ethernet Starter kit II or the PIC32 MZ Connectivity with Floating Point Unit (EF) Starter Kit.It can also be used with the other Microchip Development Hardware.

The PIC32 Audio Codec Daughter Board, AK7755 (AC327755), is a high-performance stereo codec board for selected PIC32 hardware development platforms.

This board features the AKM AK7755 (AC327755) stereo codec with built-in user-programmable DSP, which includes built-in microphone and headphone amplifiers.

This board is suitable for adding audio input and output capabilities to the PIC32 Bluetooth Starter Kit (DM320018) and the PIC32 Bluetooth Audio Development Kit (DV320032).

ATPL230A-EK is an evaluation kit for the PL230 modem for Power Line Communication from Microchip. PL230 device has been conceived to be bundled with an external Microchip MCU, which controls PL230 modem.

The kit contains an MCU control board featuring the ATSAMD21 microcontroller and embedded debugger and a driver board with ON Semiconductor drivers supporting motors operating up to 24V DC. BLDC High Voltage Motor Control Kit

The Microchip ATSAMBLDCHV-STK is a high voltage BLDC, PMSM motor control starter kit. The hardware features a two board architecture, the driver base board and MCU top card interfaced through a 67 pin NGFF connector interface. The driver board contains motor drive circuitry using ON SEMI STK554 IPM driver, two stage interleaved power factor correction, isolated USB interface for debugging, pluggable MCU card interface, current and voltage sensing, over voltage and over current protection, dynamic brake, hall and encoder interface etc.. The MCU board contains the MCU and EDBG (embedded debugger) debug circuit. The kit comes with the ATSAMC21MOTOR MCU card and other MCU cards are also available supporting various microchip MCUs. Supported by Atmel Studio integrated development platform the kit provides easy access to the feature of ATSAC21J18A and demonstrates how to integrate the device in a custom motor control application.

The AC320032-3 BM 64 Bluetooth Radio Daughter card is a companion card for select PIC32 based development kits enabling customers to evaluate and prototype different Bluetooth solutions. This card is compatible with boards such as the Bluetooth Audio Development Kit (DV320032) and the PIC32 Bluetooth Starter Kit (DM320018) via the XC32 header interface. The BM64 Card features a fully certified Bluetooth 4.2 (BDR/EDR/BLE) module solution supporting both voice and data applications. Additionally, support for HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles resides on the radio, allowing the PIC32 to be used for graphics or user interface type functions rather than running the Bluetooth Stack.

Easily incorporate security into designs with the CEC1702 IoT Development Kit, a Microsoft certified Azure IoT Starter Kit with DICE support for fast development. The kit contains the CEC1x02 Development Board including the CEC1702PIM (Part # DM990013). The CEC1x02 Development Board is a new evaluation board that can be used for development, customer evaluation and demos.


One of the key attributes of this board is a Plug in Module (PIM) for the CEC1x02. Initially the PIM for the CEC1702 IoT Development Kit will contain the CEC1702 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 Controller with Integrated Crypto Accelerators. The CEC1702 IoT Development Kit also contains the THERMO 5 Click board from MikroElektronika. THERMO 5 click measures temperature in default range of 0°C to 127°C and extended range of -64°C to 191°C with ±1°C accuracy. It carries the Microchip EMC1414 temperature sensor. The click can monitor four temperature channels - three external and one internal.

The CEC1x02 Development Board is an evaluation board that can be used for development, customer evaluation and demos. It is the board that customers can evaluate and program keys used for authentication into the CEC1x02 devices.

One of the key attributes of this board is a Plug in Module (PIM) for the CEC1x02 family. The PIM ships with the CEC1702, a full-featured ARM® Cortex®-M4-based microcontroller with complete hardware cryptography accelerators enabled solutions in a single package. These CEC1702 can be used as a secure boot product for application processors and can also be used as the sole standalone MCU in embedded applications.

The packaged CEC1x02 Development Board includes the base board and a CEC1702PIM.  The board contains two headers compatible with MikroE Clickboards to allow for flexible design requirements.

 

The dsPICDEM™ MCLV-2 Development Board provides a cost-effective method of evaluating and developing sensored or sensorless Brushless DC (BLDC) and permanent magnet synchronous motor control applications. The board supports Microchip’s 100-pin Plug-In-Modules with dsPIC33E, dsPIC33F and PIC32MK Digital Signal Controllers. The board supports the use of the internal, on chip OpAmps found on certain dsPIC® devices or the external OpAmps found on the MCLV-2 board. A dsPIC33EP256MC506 Internal OpAmp PIM (MA330031) is included. The board is capable of controlling motors rated up to 48V and 15A, with multiple communication channels such as USB, CAN, LIN and RS-232.

The dsPICDEM™ MCLV-2 Development Board is targeted to control a Brushless DC (BLDC) motor or Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) in sensor or sensorless operation. This flexible and cost-effective board can be configured in different ways for use with Microchip’s specialized motor control digital signal controllers. The dsPICDEM™ MCLV-2 Development Board supports the dsPIC33E, dsPIC33F and PIC32MK motor control device families. It offers a mounting option to connect a generic 100-pin Plug-In Module (PIM).

The MCLV-2(DM330021-2) replaces the previous MCLV (DM330021) and is fully backwards compatible with the previous MCLV(DM330021) and all motor control PIMs

The Explorer 16/32 Development Board is a flexible and convenient development, demonstration and testing platform for 16-bit PIC24 MCUs, dsPIC® DSCs and 32-bit PIC32 MCUs from Microchip Technology. It features all the necessary hardware to begin developing and debugging a complete embedded application. The Graphics Controller PICtail™ Plus Epson S1D13517 Board allows evaluating Microchip Technology’s solution and graphics library for 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers. The Epson S1D13517 offers hardware acceleration for alpha-blending, transparency, animation, multiple buffering, and picture in picture. The kit is compatible with the Explorer 16 development board (DM240001) or one of the PIC32 Starter Boards (DM320001, DM320003).
The High-Performance 4.3" WQVGA Display Module with maXTouch (AC320005-4) is designed for evaluating the Microchip graphics display solution and graphics library for 32-bit microcontrollers.
