The Serial SuperFlash® Kit 2 allows evaluation of Microchip's Serial Flash Devices which are made using the SST SuperFlash® technology. The Serial SuperFlash Kit 2 contains three Serial Flash Daughter Boards. The Serial Flash Daughter Board is an evaluation board designed to interface with the mikroBUS™ connector on the Explorer 16/32 Development Board (DM240001-2). It can also interface with the PICtail™ Plus connector located on the Explorer 16 Development Board (DM240001).

A highly integrated, compact and flexible development platform. Integrates with the PIC32MZ Starter Kits for a complete graphics development solution. The MEB-II kit features a 4.3” WQVGA MaxTouch display daughter board.

Multimedia Expansion Board II (MEB-II) is a highly integrated, compact and flexible development platform which works with PIC32MZ Starter Kit. The MEB-II kit features a 4.3” WQVGA maxTouch display daughter board. The kit also has an onboard 24-bit stereo audio codec, VGA camera, 802.11 b/g wireless module, Bluetooth HCI transceiver, temperature sensor, microSD slot and analog accelerometer.

E-paper EPD PICtail™ Plus Daughter Board is an extension board to the Microchip® Explorer 16 Development Board. EPD PICtail Plus Daughter Board is designed to kick-start e-paper development with Microchip Graphic Library and PIC Microcontrollers including PIC24, dsPIC33 and PIC32 families.

There is on board 40 pins FPC connector connects to our E Ink based EPD panels. The driving circuit supports driving 1.44 inch, 2 inch and 2.7 inch EPD panels via SPI interface. All three sizes of EPD ship with the EPD PICtail Plus Daughter Board. The sample Microchip MPLAB® X IDE project provides source driving waveform including global update and partial update with command interface to update content on EPD panel for developer to start working with EPD application easily.

The Graphics Display Powertip 4.3” 480x272 Board is a demonstration board for evaluating Microchip’s graphic display solution and graphics library for 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers. It is an expansion board compatible with the PIC24FJ256DA210 Development Board (DM240312), and Graphics LCD Controller PICtail™ Plus SSD1926 Board (AC164127-5).
The Graphics Display Prototype Board (set of three) provides an easy path to integrate a graphics LCD panel of developer’s choice to one of the following platforms.

The Graphics Display Truly 7” 800x480 Board is a demonstration board for evaluating Microchip’s graphic display solution and graphics library for 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers. It is an expansion board compatible with the Graphics LCD Controller PICtail™ Plus S1D13517 Board (AC164127-7).
The Graphics LCD Controller PICtail™ Plus SSD1926 Board is a demonstration board for evaluating Microchip Technology’s graphic display solution and graphics library for 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers. It is an expansion board compatible with the Explorer 16 development board (DM240001) or one of the PIC32 Starter Boards (DM320001, DM320003). The controller board has a connection for the display boards, such as the Graphics Display Truly 3.2 240x320 Board (AC164127-4).


The PIC24FJ256DA210 Development Board is a low cost and efficient development board to evaluate the features and performance of the PIC24FJ256DA210 with integrated graphics, mTouch™ and USB. This board is an ideal platform for developing graphical human interface applications.

The development board requires a display board to complete the 2-board setup. It has a Microchip display connector V1, and allows developers to match with any of the listed 3.2”, 4.3” TFT display, or the graphics prototype board available by Microchip.

The PIC32 GUI Development Board with Projected Capacitive Touch enables development of cost effective multi touch graphical user interfaces. It is based on PIC32MX795F512 with 105 DMIPS performance, 512KB Flash and 128KB RAM. The PIC32 is coupled with a low cost PSRAM as a high speed graphics frame buffering and a 4.3” WQVGA touch display enabling development of graphics solutions without an external graphics controller. Additionally the board provides USB host and device connectivity and supports I/O connections via through-hole pads for custom board attachment. Multi touch user input is supported by Microchip’s Turnkey Projected Capacitive Touch Controller, MTCH6301. The RN4677 PICtail/PICtail Plus is a Bluetooth Dual Mode development board using the Microchip RN4677 Bluetooth Dual Mode module. The RN4677 module is a Dual mode Bluetooth module that complies with Bluetooth Core Specification 4.0. The RN4677 uses a simple ASCII command interface over the UART. The board enables evaluation of the RN4677 and development of Bluetooth low Energy applications in two different ways:

1) Out of the box:  When plugged into the USB port of a PC, the board will enumerate as a Communication Device Class (CDC) Serial device.  Through a terminal program, users can configure and control the module and transfer data using the easy to use provided command set.
